"Running a business that deals with children is a personal affair:
that's why we provide a personal training service"
Stacy Mann, Director and Head Trainer
I have always had an immense passion for working with children: when most of my friends were thinking about which university to apply to I was excited about starting my first job as a childcare practitioner because all I ever wanted to do was help raise the standards in the childcare sector. I worked my way up to Manager at my first job and my enthusiasm for childcare was matched by my passion for education so I worked towards every qualification I could get my hands on! It wasn't long before I realised that, if I could be the one doing the teaching, I could have an even bigger impact in childcare so I started NVQ Assessing and, eventually, teaching Childcare to Apprentices. For eight years I worked for training providers delivering the underpinning knowledge for a variety of different courses, including being involved in creating new programmes when courses have been developed and changed. While studying for my teaching degree it became obvious to me that, in light of the Nutbrown Review, there was a need for high quality training for Early Years Practitioners and I felt the skills, education and experiences I had gained throughout my career qualified me perfectly to provide this. After having had 2 children myself my desire to help equip practitioners to give youngsters high quality experiences has become even stronger.
